southeastern directions for Life is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional (EDSP) in our school setting in Sioux Falls. The role includes morning group-home support, transportation assistance, and daytime education-area duties under a Special Education Teacher, with a collaborative team environment.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, sick time, health and dental insurance, vision, 403B, and a flexible health plan.

Competenze

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s insurance provider.
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.

Mansioni

• 7am–9am in a group home assisting individuals with morning routines.
• Help with transportation to our school.
• Rest of the day (until about 3 pm) in the education area under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher.

Our mission is 'empowering people to discover their directions for life in a changing world.'

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday. NO nights, NO weekends!!

JOB SUMMARY:

This position involves working 7am - 9am in a group home, helping individuals with morning routines, and assisting with transportation to our school. The EDSP will continue to work the remainder of the day (until approximately 3 pm) in our education area under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher. You will be working in a team atmosphere and will enjoy seeing the difference you can make in a person's life.
