Southeastern Directions for Life in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional for Education and Integration in a school setting. The role supports individuals in the morning group home and assists with transportation to our Adult Day Program.

You will continue to work the remainder of the day in our Adult Day Program as part of a collaborative team. Work hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with NO nights and NO weekends.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current driver's license with car insurance and a driving record acceptable to the insurer.
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check including fingerprinting and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Assist with morning routines in a group home from 7:00am to 9:00am.
• Provide transportation to the Adult Day Program and support throughout the day.
• Work in a team setting to make a positive difference in participants' lives until ~3:00pm.

JOB SUMMARY

This position involves working 7am - 9am in a group home, helping individuals with morning routines, and assisting with transportation to our Adult Day Program. The EDSP will continue to work the remainder of the day (until approximately 3 pm) at our Adult Day Program. You will be working in a team atmosphere and will enjoy seeing the difference you can make in a person's life.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma/GED. Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to southeastern’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.
