Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics seeks an Educational Diagnostician to assess and advocate for students with special needs. You will identify learning needs and recommend resources to support success within the education system.

You will conduct psycho-educational evaluations, discuss findings with families and staff, and help design interventions that improve participation and outcomes for students. Experience in special education systems is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
• Experience: at least one year as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to determine eligibility and need for services.

Your Role:

As anEducational Diagnostician, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of students by identifying their unique needs and advocating for the resources that enable their success. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conduct Evaluations: Perform psycho-educational assessments to determine students’ eligibility and need for specialized services.

Communicate Findings: Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Support Team: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student’s needs effectively.
