Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. in New Jersey is seeking an Educational Assistant (ERI) to support students in our ERI program under the supervision of a certified teacher.

This role focuses on helping students with emotional regulation and behavioral challenges while maintaining a safe classroom. Responsibilities include assisting academic tasks, implementing behavior plans, de-escalation, tracking daily behavior data, and reinforcing positive social skills.

Educational Assistant (ERI)

The Special Education Assistant works under the direct supervision of a certified teacher to support students in our ERI (Emotional Regulation Impairment) program

Responsibilities include:

• support students who struggle with emotional self-regulation and behavioral challenges:
  • assist academic tasks under a teacher’s supervision
  • implement behavior plans
  • maintain a safe, structured classroom environment
  • de-escalate, and reinforce positive social skills under a teacher's supervision
  • track daily behavior data

Work Schedule:

• 7 hours per day
• 5 days per week
• 185 days per year
• 10 month position

Requirement:

• High School Diploma
• 60 College credits preferred

Effective:

2026-2027 School Year

Salary:

• As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level
• Minimum $29,250- maximum $40,713
