Job summary

Fairfield City School District seeks an Educational Assistant in Cross Categorical Preschool at East Elementary. This seven-hour position supports teachers with supervision, care and instruction of preschool students.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and meet one of the criteria (Associate's degree or 48 college hours or Paraprofessional exam).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

One position available seven (7) hours per day.
Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee assists in the supervision, care and instruction of preschool students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and meet one of the following criteria (1) hold an Associate's degree or higher, (2) have taken forty-eight semester hours of college coursework, or (3) take a Paraprofessional exam.
