Job summary

Fairfield City School District East Elementary in Hamilton, Ohio seeks an Educational Assistant for Cross Categorical Preschool. The role covers seven hours per day supporting supervision, care and instruction of preschool students under the principal’s direction.

Educational Assistant Cross Categorical Preschool 7 hours per day East Elementary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

One position available seven (7) hours per day. Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee assists in the supervision, care and instruction of preschool students.

PAY & BENEFITS

Beginning hourly rate: $17.37/hour and up, commensurate with related experience for regular employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and meet one of the following criteria (1) hold an Associate's degree or higher, (2) have taken forty-eight semester hours of college coursework, or (3) take a Paraprofessional exam.
