Job summary

The Educational Assistant II position at Sams Valley Elementary (Central Point School District 6) supports teachers by implementing instruction and guiding students in small groups. Qualifications

• Must have an Associates degree, or two years post-high school study, or a passing score on the district assessment.
• Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of English language arts and mathematics is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing classroom activities and reinforce instruction.
• Oversee group activities and supervise students during classes and routines.
• Assist with proctoring assessments and maintaining student records including attendance.
• Prepare instructional materials and coordinate daily activities as directed.
• Support IEP data preparation and communicate student progress to staff.
