Fairfield City Schools is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant for the high school to support students with special needs under an IEP. The role involves supervising and aiding in instruction, and moving students between general education and resource settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the special education teacher or designee, this person assists in the supervision, care and instruction of students in High School on an Individual Education Program (IEP). Accompanies students with disabilities into general education settings and/or resource room settings and assists with tasks.

Positions available - 7.0 hours per day

PAY & BENEFITS

Beginning hourly rate: $16.99/hour and up, commensurate with related experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent.
