Job summary

Fairfield City School District seeks an Educational Assistant (full-time) for South Elementary. The role supports students in grades K-5, assists with classroom tasks, and helps students on an IEP, including those in social communications or multiple disabilities classrooms. Seven hours daily, 8:25 a.m.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

One position available - seven (7) hours per day.8:25a.m - 3:25p.m.

Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee assists in the supervision, care and instruction of students in grades K-5 by monitoring student behavior, performing classroom tasks, providing information to appropriate school personnel, and assisting students on an Individual Education Program (IEP). Assist students in the social communications or multiple disabilities classroom.

PAY & BENEFITS

Beginning hourly rate: $17.37/hour and up, commensurate with related experience for regular employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent.
