Job summary

The Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is hiring Educational Interpreters for Deaf students at Berea-Midpark High School starting August 15, 2026. Successful candidates will facilitate communication and promote positive relations among Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and their peers.

This role requires a strong command of American Sign Language and an Ohio Department of Education Associate License Interpreter for the Hearing Impaired. Comprehensive insurance benefits and opportunities for professional development are included.

Qualifications

• Strong American Sign Language skills necessary.
• Physical ability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to lift equipment and/or children weighing at least forty (40) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend professional development and staff meetings.
