Qualifications

• Must be competent in English, ASL, and SEE.
• Associate degree from an accredited Interpreter Training Program is required.
• Valid Ohio Interpreter for the Hearing Impaired license is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Interpret instructional information from spoken English into sign language.
• Interpret directions for classroom and standardized assessments.
• Instruct students and staff on using interpretation services.
