Job summary

BBS, a NY-based design firm, is seeking an architectural designer with 3–5 years of experience in K-12, higher education or municipal projects in Albany, NY. You will collaborate with senior architects and project managers to develop design concepts and construction drawings.

The role emphasizes strong design, rendering and communication skills, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe, and the ability to work within a team on multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in K-12, higher education, and/or municipal projects.
• Strong design, rendering and communication skills; lead with graphic presentation.
• Experience collaborating with Senior Architects/Project Managers.
• Proficiency in modeling/presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to establish program and needs.
• Generate interior and exterior designs and renderings for client approval.
• Create Construction Drawings with the project team under supervision.
• Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Support business development and marketing outreach.
