Job summary

Children’s Service Center of Wyoming Valley is seeking an energetic Educational Aide/Mental Health Worker to join our Partial Program. You will support youth in a classroom setting, provide therapeutic assistance, and help the teacher with instruction and assessments.

Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits accompany this role. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma; an A.A.S or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Provide therapeutic support to emotionally disturbed and/or exceptional students.
• Assist in reinforcing classroom content and remediate when requested by the teacher.
• Support the teacher and function as classroom aides.
• Assist the teacher with administering and grading classroom tests.

Purpose of this position:Children’s Service Center is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a treatment team member. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn, the Educational Aide/Mental Health Worker is right for you.
