Job summary

Children’s Service Center and the Robinson Counseling Center for Adults are seeking an energetic Outpatient Therapist to conduct diagnostic assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy for children, adolescents, families, and adults.

Responsibilities include bio-psycho-social assessments, substance abuse and trauma screenings, psychiatric/psychological evaluations, and medication monitoring, with opportunities for professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with clinical practicum.
• Licensed in a clinical discipline (LSW, LPC, LCSW).
• Bachelor's degree in a recognized clinical discipline including social work, psychology, rehabilitation or activity therapies.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic bio-psycho-social assessments and psychological evaluations.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy across age groups.
• Conduct substance use, trauma exposure, and domestic violence screenings.

Purpose of this Position:Children’s Service Center and the Robinson Counseling Center for Adults is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well independently and collectively with other team members. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to lead, the Outpatient Therapist position provides services that include diagnostic bio-psycho social assessments, individual, group and family therapy, substance abuse screenings, trauma exposure screenings, domestic violence screenings, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, medication assessments and medication monitoring. The Outpatient Therapist serves children, adolescents, families and adults who might have difficulty functioning in their community, home, or school.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices, and methodologyKnowledge of individual and group dynamicsUtilization of a variety of modalities and techniques to address the needs of each client and their familyChildren’s Service Center/Robinson Counseling Center for adults creates a positive working culture of Care and Commitment for employees which extends to the children & families we serve.
