Job summary

Community Services Group in Manheim, PA, is seeking Mental Health Workers for its Youth Mental Health Services Adolescent Residential Treatment Facility. We have full-time and part-time openings, with a priority for 2nd shift (3pm–11pm).

You will provide case administration, facilitate groups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for part-time weekend shifts; starting wage is $21.25/hour, negotiable with experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, education or similar field with at least 1 year of full-time experience working with children or adolescents.
  • High school diploma with more than 1 year of direct contact with children or adolescents.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle for trainings and transports.
  • Flexible hours willingness to work varying shifts including 2nd shift and potential weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Provides case administration to an assigned caseload.
  • Facilitates group process and activity within the program.
  • Contributes to the multidisciplinary treatment team process.
  • Uses basic medical and psychiatric terminology.
  • Manages crisis situations including verbal/physical altercations and suicidal thoughts/actions.
  • Adapts treatment programs to individual functioning levels.
  • Leads psycho-educational groups with youth.
  • Interviews individuals and guardians to gather psychosocial information.

The Mental Health Worker reports directly to the Program Director.This position is part of our Youth Mental Health (MH) Services Adolescent Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) in Manheim.We currently have Full-Time and Part-Time openings available with a priority for 2nd shift schedules (3pm-11pm).CSG is offering a $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for those hired into part-time weekend shifts!
