Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Thirty (30) sem. hours of college credit with some focus on child growth or related subjects or 3 years as educational aide I/II.
• SBEC Educational Aide III paraprofessional certificate.

Responsibilities

• Uphold school rules and policies.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and displays.
• Work with individual students or small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with administering and scoring tests and assignments.
• Supervise students throughout the day (lunch, bus, playground).
• Assist students with physical needs and personal care as needed.
• Assist in managing student behavior and crisis intervention when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate student needs to staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the campus principal or senior director.
