The State of Georgia, Department of Juvenile Justice, is seeking an Educational Aide for the Gainesville Regional Youth Detention Center in Gainesville, GA. The role supports teachers, assists in lesson planning, and helps create a safe, engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lesson outlines, plans, and curricula in assigned areas; develops teaching aids and materials.
• Presents subject matter using various methods (stories, discussions, role playing).
• Assists students individually or in groups with assignments; performs clerical duties supporting classroom activities.
• Operates and maintains instructional equipment; observes and guides student behavior per procedures.
