Mercer University TRIO Programs seeks an Educational Advisor on the Macon, Georgia campus to provide academic, career, and personal guidance to eligible first-generation, low-income students. The advisor plans, implements, and evaluates services to foster achievement and college readiness.

You will coordinate advising, tutoring, and workshops, lead workshops, supervise peer mentors, and assist with recruitment and outreach to prospective participants.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience in tutoring, instruction, academic advising, student support, or related educational settings.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable by the university.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to use student information systems, learning management systems, and databases.

Responsabilidades

• Provide academic, career, and personal guidance to eligible first-generation, low-income students.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate services to foster academic achievement, development, and college readiness.
• Coordinate advising, tutoring, mentoring, and workshops; supervise peer mentors.
• Lead outreach to target high schools and recruit participants.
• Support the summer residential program, including overnight responsibilities.
