Job summary

Mercer University is seeking an Assistant Director of Academic Advising and Student Services for the School of Business, based in Macon or Atlanta. This senior role oversees advising, onboarding, retention, and student engagement, coordinating with multiple campus partners to promote persistence and degree completion.

The position reports to the Director of Academic Advising and Student Services and supports enrollment growth, transfer recruitment, and programming to enhance the student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and one year of experience in university advising or related field.
• Valid driver's license due to travel requirements.
• Preferred Master's in Business or related specialty; CampusNexus experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day academic advising and student success initiatives.
• Oversee onboarding, retention programming, and student engagement activities.
• Coordinate advising initiatives and manage student records reporting.
• Collaborate with faculty, admissions, enrollment management, and career services.
