Job summary

The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, Inc. Education & Workforce Technician supports education services, workforce skills, and library resources within the Higher Education Department.

The role assists applicants, maintains partnerships with outside agencies, and helps implement program objectives and community events. Responsibilities include coordinating events such as college fairs and job fairs, preparing reports, and ensuring confidential handling of participant data while supporting grant compliance

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two years in related fields preferred.
• Experience with intake, form management, or file handling preferred.
• CPR certification preferred; must obtain within three months if not current.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and coordinating events such as college fairs, job fairs, and youth programs.
• Maintain relationships with external organizations and community partners for outreach.
• Assist clients with education resources, library materials, and online research tools.
• Help applicants with program requirements and applications.
• Prepare correspondence and data using Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Track participant data and maintain program files per reporting guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of participant information and records.
• Support grant reporting milestones and inventory for retention efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
