Job summary

Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma is seeking a Family Services Coordinator to deliver comprehensive family support through the Family Partnership Agreement and collaborate with classroom staff to support enrolled children and families.

Responsibilities include coordinating home visits, maintaining records, connecting families with community resources, and recruiting volunteers while ensuring HIPAA/confidentiality and grant compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of culturally diverse populations and their needs.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with goal setting and general case management preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality per program policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver family support services via Family Partnership Agreements.
• Maintain accurate records in family files and tracking databases.
• Promote wellness through screenings, nutrition workshops, and referrals.
• Coordinate home visits and parent-teacher conferences with staff.
• Develop Family Partnership Agreements at enrollment and track outcomes.
• Recruit families and train parents as volunteers; track hours.
• Coordinate monthly Parent Meetings and partner with tribal agencies.
• Serve as a PHBHV instructor and ensure grant compliance.
• Complete visits with expectant families and communicate with families effectively.
• Report suspected child abuse/neglect per laws; maintain confidentiality.
