Job summary

PENZONE Salons + Spas is seeking an Education + Training Supervisor for BASE ONE in Dublin, OH. This full-time, onsite role will oversee Artists in Training, Apprentices, Interns and Creative Educators, blending coaching with program administration to keep education running smoothly.

You’ll manage scheduling, mentorship, and hands-on training while ensuring guest experiences reflect PENZONE standards and educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Cosmetology license
• Minimum 1 year successful industry service experience
• 1–3 years leadership experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and ability to shift priorities

Responsibilities

• Oversee Artists in Training, Apprentices, Interns and Creative Educators
• Balance coaching, mentorship and training delivery with organizational administration
• Coordinate training activities to ensure learning translates into confident execution
• Maintain schedules and support behind-the-scenes coordination on the training floor

In this full-time onsite leadership role at BASE ONE in Dublin, you'll oversee Artists in Training, Apprentices, Interns, and Creative Educators while helping bring PENZONE's education programs to life. You'll balance coaching, mentorship, and training delivery with the organization and administration needed to keep our education ecosystem running smoothly.

Required qualifications:

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Prefer minimum of 1-year successful industry service experience.


• Prefer 1-3 years leadership experience.


• Active Ohio Cosmetology license


• Strong multitasking and prioritization to meet deadlines


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment + ability to quickly to change priorities.

A Typical Shift

Your week runs Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with occasional alternate days when training needs shift. You'll bounce between the training floor and behind-the-scenes coordination-checking in with new artists, connecting with educators, and making sure learning moments translate into confident execution.
