Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Education Technician II/III to support educational and behavioral services for students and individuals with special needs in Rockland, ME. This contract position offers 35 hours per week at $31 per hour.

The role collaborates with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to implement individualized goals and ensure a positive learning environment. A high school diploma and pediatric experience are preferred, with CPR and TB screening as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest X-ray, if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other behavioral specialists to meet learning and behavioral goals.
