Job summary

Amergis Staffing is seeking an Education Technician (Ed Tech) II or III for school-based contracts in Somerville, ME. The role supports educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs, collaborating with teachers and specialists to reach learning goals.

The position offers 35 hours per week at $30 per hour, with full-time contractual terms through Amergis. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, has pediatric experience, and can fulfill CPR

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
