Job summary

Amergis in Rockland, ME is seeking an Education Technician (Ed Tech) 2 for a contract–full-time role in a school setting. The Ed Tech supports educational and behavioral services for students with special needs and collaborates with school professionals to reach learning goals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, pediatric experience preferred, CPR if applicable, TB screening if needed, and meeting all federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with school staff and behavioral specialists to meet learning goals.

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
