Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Education Technician (Ed Tech) II or III to support students in Portland, ME. This contract–full-time role focuses on educational and behavioral services for individuals with special needs, partnering with school staff to meet learning goals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and pediatric experience; CPR may be required. Competitive pay at $30 per hour, with benefits eligibility dependent on status.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Technician facilitates educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborates with school professionals and behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
