Job summary
Amergis is hiring multiple positions (PreK-12) in the school setting. The Educational Technician 2 or 3 will implement behavioral intervention plans and help deliver educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs, working closely with school professionals and other specialists to meet learning goals.
Requirements include Maine DOE Ed Tech 2/3 certification (or willingness to obtain), 1 year of relevant experience preferred, and an associates degree in behavioral
Qualifications
- Ed Tech 2 or 3 certification from Maine Department of Education required or willingness to obtain
- One year relevant experience preferred
- Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
