Job summary

ServingSchools in Maine is seeking an Educational Technician 3 to implement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.

The role involves collaborating with teachers and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning goals and may support ABA services designed by a supervisor. The candidate should meet the Maine Ed Tech 3 requirements and be at least 18.

Qualifications

• Valid Ed Tech 3 certification from Maine DOE or willingness to obtain.
• One year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implements behavioral intervention plans and facilitates educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
• Supports implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services designed by a supervisor.
