Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Educational Technician 3 to join our behavior program for elementary students. You will help implement behavioral intervention plans and collaborate with school professionals and behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.

You will support the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services designed by a supervisor, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and health requirements as part of the contract.

Qualifications

• Valid Ed Tech 3 license from Maine Department of Education or willingness to obtain it.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate's degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred.
• Complies with all relevant standards of practice.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Ed Tech 3: From the Maine Department of Education or a willingness to obtain it.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Education: Associate's degree in behavioral studies or a related field preferred.
• Professional Standards: Complies with all relevant standards of practice.
• CPR Certification: Current CPR if applicable.
• Health Requirements: TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health Certificate: Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Compliance: Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
