Job summary

ClassLink is hiring a Partner Solutions Engineer to own partner integrations end-to-end, from discovery through implementation and support. You will design SSO/rostering integrations (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LTI 1.3, OneRoster, Ed-Fi) and translate partner needs into scalable solutions.

You will troubleshoot across systems, collaborate with Product Support, Engineering, and Relationship Managers, and contribute to technical docs and financial models evaluating ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in solutions engineering, technical consulting, systems integration, or related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with web APIs and data formats (REST, JSON, CSV).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to create/test/prototype tech workflows.
• Experience analyzing structured data using SQL, Python, JavaScript, or comparable methods.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts/protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems and drive to resolution.
• Experience gathering technical requirements and translating them into an implementation plan.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and project ownership, managing multiple partner integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own partner integration projects end-to-end, from discovery to post-implementation follow-up.
• Design and deliver standard SSO and rostering integrations (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LTI 1.3, OneRoster, Ed-Fi).
• Map partner requirements to ClassLink capabilities and recommend practical integration approaches.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, rostering, API, and data exchange issues independently.
• Manage technical relationships with partner teams, providing guidance on best practices and next steps.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and manage partner-facing communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve needs, escalate when needed, and share feedback.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, guides, troubleshooting resources, and knowledge articles.
• Track integration work and blockers in Salesforce and Linear.
• Identify recurring challenges and propose improvements to processes, tooling, APIs, and product capabilities.
• Use agentic development tools to prototype integrations and automate repeatable tasks.
• Analyze data with spreadsheets, SQL, BI tools to identify trends and inform priorities.
• Develop financial models and business cases assessing ROI and costs for integrations.
• Stay current on ClassLink products, standards, security practices, and education tech ecosystem.
