Job summary

Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is seeking a full-time Education Support Specialist to assist with assessment, instruction, and documentation for assigned students under the Principal’s direction.

The role requires collaboration with teachers, direct supervision of students, and adherence to trauma-informed and Re-ED philosophy. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with flexibility for related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree minimally.
• Experience working with children with autism and other developmental delays.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Good judgment under routine and stressful conditions.
• Professional, effective collaboration with others.

Responsibilities

• Align practice with agency mission and trauma-informed models.
• Collaborate with teaching teams to implement daily instructional plans.
• Provide supervision of students during activities.
• Prepare teaching materials and classroom displays.
• Record and analyze behavioral data; maintain documentation.
• Transport students in agency vehicles as needed.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings.
• Work with culturally diverse populations.
• Adhere to agency policies.
