Job summary

PreEminent Charter School in Raleigh, NC serves K-8 students and is seeking a Title I paraprofessional. The position is scheduled for 35 hours per week and provides instructional support in small groups and 1:1 interventions under the classroom teacher's supervision.

You will assist in teaching reading, writing and mathematics, help navigate classroom technology, and contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment with ongoing collaboration with teachers and parents.

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements for Title I paraprofessional.
• Experience with school age children preferred.
• Ability to support reading, writing and mathematics.
• Ability to navigate technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance in 1:1 or small groups as directed.
• Educate the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.
• Implement result‑driven curriculum to achieve growth from fall to spring testing.
• Attend professional development and articulation meetings with teachers and parents as required.
