Job Description

Fulfill regular classroom duties of an Education Support Professional under the supervision of the classroom teacher at O’Maley Middle School to support a student with disabilities by providing individualized, intensive instruction in all academic areas.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and educational support services to students in the Learning Center under the supervision of the classroom teacher for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher, or completion of ParaPro Testing.
• Experience and/or education working with children with special needs (preferred).
• Ability to work cooperatively with classroom teacher(s).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to student success.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Track record of professionalism and effective collaboration in the workplace.

Additional Information

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, in accordance with the Gloucester Public Schools ESP salary schedule. Salary Range: $29,355.00 to $38,268.00. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, and retirement options.
