Job summary

Gloucester Public Schools System seeks an Education Support Professional for the Social Pragmatics Program at O'Maley Innovation Middle School in Gloucester, MA. You will provide individualized, intensive instruction under the program teacher's supervision to support students with disabilities in all academic areas.

The position starts immediately for the 2026-27 school year, is 32.5 hours weekly, and salary is commensurate with the ESP schedule ($29,355–$35,535).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher; or completion of ParaPro Testing.
• Experience and/or education working with children with special needs, preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to student success.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and educational support services to students under the supervision of the classroom teacher for the 2026-27 school year.
• Fulfill regular classroom duties under the supervision of the social pragmatics program teacher to support students with disabilities by providing individualized, intensive instruction.
