Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking an EA IV - Bridge Transition Program to assist students with significant support needs in acquiring and maintaining employment skills within community settings. You will collaborate with the support team, supervise students in work environments, and transport them to various worksites as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to run short distances as part of mobility tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to support positive outcomes.
• Demonstrated computer skills including word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
• Maintains a generally positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily functions and life skills in work settings.
• Supervise students in work placements and transfer responsibilities appropriately.
• Transport students to and from worksites in DCSD transportation.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to plan educational activities.
• Maintain records and report student progress as required.
