Job summary

Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District is seeking a dedicated Paraeducator to join Pankalo Education Center. This role involves supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges by providing both instructional and behavioral assistance in a safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and relevant experience, and must be committed to fostering an equitable educational atmosphere. Starting hourly pay is $24, with a commitment of 183 paid days per year.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of successful experience working with adolescents and/or individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in small groups.
• Assist teachers in modifying curriculum and class activities.
• Monitor and de-escalate student behavior to ensure safety.

Skills

Monitoring children in an educational setting
