Job summary

Education Jobs NJ at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Wayne, NJ seeks an Educational Support Staff (Certified)/Para Professional Instructional (cert) to reinforce student instruction and daily living skills under supervision of licensed staff.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have minimum of 60 college credits or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces personal, social, behavioral and academic learning goals for students.
• Assist with classroom management and positive behavioral supports.
• Support student participation with prompting, cueing, modeling, and coaching as needed.
• Promote student independence and data collection when required.
• Assist staff with safe, effective learning environments in all areas of the school.
• Provide minor clerical assistance and assist with field trips if available.
• Maintain confidentiality of students at all times.
