Job summary

Urban Strategies, Inc. is seeking an Education Specialist in Fayetteville, NC to oversee education initiatives under the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation grant.

The role covers early childhood to adult education, coordinating multiple programs to strengthen human capital in distressed urban neighborhoods. The position requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field with several years of project and grant management, data-informed planning, and strong collaboration with school districts and family

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field and at least three years of project management experience.
• At least two years of experience administering complex contracts or grants.
• Strong communication and writing skills; ability to report clearly.
• Excellent organization and coordination abilities.
• Experience with case management and service coordination.
• Ability to work with diverse partners and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Create a Results Count Annual Action Plan informed by data to guide local education planning and coordination.
• Develop and submit weekly work plans for accountability.
• Build partnerships and implement education tactics aligned with national strategies and indicators.
• Provide regular HUD and Urban Strategies reporting compliance.
