Job summary

Rocketship Public Schools is seeking an Education Specialist to ensure students with significant needs access to an excellent education within an inclusive model. You will collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals and families to provide accommodations, modifications, and targeted supports aligned to IEPs, while delivering instruction in functional and academic areas.

Qualifications

• Hold a B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Lifetime or Provisional Cross-Categorical Endorsement OR eligibility for a 1-Year License with Stipulations and enroll in credentialing.
• Must maintain active credential status throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals and standards while supporting functional/adaptive skills.
• Lead and coach paraprofessionals to ensure consistent accommodations and supports.
• Own and manage an IEP caseload with compliance to IDEA and state law.
• Coordinate evaluations with psychologists and related services for assessments.
