Job summary

The Whitney Museum of American Art seeks an Education: Spanish Initiatives intern for the Spring 2027 semester. The internship is in person and onsite, with 16–21 hours per week over 10–12 weeks, totaling 176 hours.

Interns are assigned to a specific department for the duration of the internship and receive a $3000 stipend. Applicants must be rising juniors or above, enrolled in an accredited program, and eligible for a rolling timeline with the deadline of November 9.

Qualifications

• Eligible undergraduates and graduates enrolled in accredited year-long programs.
• Minimum of one year of academic coursework completed; freshmen not eligible.
• Interest in art and art history is preferred; all majors may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on Spanish resources and assist with Spanish projects and translations.
• Translate, edit program descriptions, and support related Spanish initiatives.
• Assist the Associate Manager with administrative duties, expenses tracking and budgets.
