The Whitney Museum of American Art is offering a spring 2027 internship in the Education department for the Community Programs and Partnerships team. The internship supports programs and curricula for community partners and senior centers, with a focus on social movements and art education.

The Whitney’s Community Programs and Partnerships department aims to build pathways for New Yorkers to engage with the richness and complexity of American art. Through partnerships, we work to build sustained connections that go beyond the single museum visit, bringing art, ideas, and dialogue to classrooms, senior centers, and community-based organizations around the city. The work of the Community Programs and Partnerships department is driven by collaboration between Whitney staff, local stakeholders, and artists.
