Job summary

Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized Education Reviewer to monitor early childhood/child welfare programs across regions. You will work with Head Start partners, maintain data lists, and help build statewide resources while supporting DCFS goals.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to collaborate across teams to improve outcomes for Illinois families and children.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field with direct casework experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work and one year of related case management experience; or two years in related field.
• Experience in school systems and/or ISBE funded programs is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Education Reviewer and monitor regional programs.
• Act as liaison to Head Start/Early Head Start grantees and maintain data lists.
• Develop statewide database services and contribute to strategic planning.
• Participate in regional groups to implement goals in the IDCFS framework.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the job as required.
