Job summary

Fresh Start Women's Foundation in Phoenix is seeking an Education Recruiter/Advisor to identify and recruit qualified candidates for our academic programs, while delivering exceptional service to guide women through enrollment.

You will engage via phone, email, videoconferencing, and other channels, set enrollment targets, and collaborate with the Education Team to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to program start.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a phone-intensive customer service position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Higher Education experience (preferred): familiarity with enrollment processes is a plus.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping students succeed.
• Goal-oriented and results-driven with the ability to devise recruitment strategies and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective students through multiple channels (phone, email, Zoom, and other platforms).
• Serve as the primary enrollment support contact, guiding prospective students through the enrollment process.
• Set enrollment targets and implement strategies to meet or exceed them.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with students.
• Demonstrate adaptability and creativity to respond to changing recruitment challenges.

Our comprehensive services, offered at the Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center in downtown Phoenix, include career readiness, family law support, social work services, domestic violence support, mentoring programs, computer training, scholarship funding, health & wellness classes, and job placement support.

Job Summary

As an Education Recruiter/Advisor, you will play a crucial role in identifying and recruiting qualified candidates for our academic programs, while providing exceptional customer service and support to guide our women throughout their educational journey. This position is goal-driven and requires a proactive, flexible, and creative approach to meet enrollment targets.

Responsibilities

Identification and Recruitment

• Utilize various recruitment channels to identify potential students.
• Engage in outreach efforts via phone, email, ZOOM and other communication platforms to attract qualified individuals.
• Provide comprehensive information about academic programs and Fresh Start to interested students.

Student Enrollment Support

• Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, offering personalized support and guidance throughout the enrollment process.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and challenges faced by prospective students promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the Education Team to ensure a smooth transition from the recruitment phase to the academic program.

Goal Achievement

• Set enrollment targets and work diligently to achieve or exceed them.
• Develop and implement creative strategies to boost recruitment and meet enrollment goals.
• Analyze recruitment data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Customer Service Excellence

• Demonstrate a strong customer service background, delivering exceptional service to all prospective students.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students to foster a sense of trust and support.

Flexibility and Adaptability

• Embrace a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting strategies as needed to respond to changing circumstances.

Requirements

1. Proven Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a phone-intensive customer service position.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving or surpassing set goals.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to articulate information about academic programs and institutional offerings clearly and persuasively.

1. Higher Education Experience (Preferred):

• Familiarity with the higher education industry and enrollment processes is a plus.
