Job summary

Harris & Associates Education team partners with K-12 districts, community colleges, and universities to design and manage transformative programs aligning with their goals. We work on modernization/expansion, infrastructure improvements for safety, and development of labs, research centers, and classrooms.

The Project Manager leads from the early stages, developing budgets and schedules, selecting the design team, monitoring plans, and assisting with bidding and award processes to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years of project, construction, or program management experience.
• DSA project experience with K-12
• OSHA-10 certification within 1 month of hire
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• PMP or CCM certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for school district representatives, contractors, architects, engineers, regulatory agencies, and Harris staff.
• Provide leadership throughout all construction phases from pre-bid to closeout.
• Direct and oversee construction activities to deliver on schedule and within budget.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and foster trust and accountability.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting with updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, track action items.
• Mentor project engineers, assistant PMs, inspectors, and staff.
