O’Connell Robertson in Austin, TX is seeking a talented Project Architect to lead project teams in the design and production of architectural drawings and specifications for Education projects, ensuring buildable solutions and alignment with the design intent.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, 7+ years of professional experience in educational facilities, and proficiency in REVIT, with strong knowledge of building codes and structures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited 5-year program.
7+ years of professional experience in Educational facility design preferred.
Proficiency in REVIT.
Working knowledge of commercial building codes and structures.
Registered Architect preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams to ensure timely design, execution, and delivery of contract documents for Education projects.
Spearhead progressive design concepts through all phases of design.
Provide innovative educational planning and design ideas aligned with client goals and standards.
Deliver presentations that advance technical and design expertise and strengthen client relationships.
Mentor teams and develop roadmaps for career advancement.
Stay ahead of current architectural trends, innovations, and tools.
