Job summary

ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, REHABILITATION & REENTRY (ADCRR) is seeking a Correctional Education Program Supervisor to lead education and library services at a prison complex, supervise staff, and oversee daily program operations.

You will work with the Regional Education Director to deliver high-quality educational programs that support rehabilitation and successful reentry, ensuring compliance with contracts and security policies. This is a leadership role in public service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate in Elementary, Secondary or Special Education.
• Current Arizona DPS Class I Fingerprint Card.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Annual TB test and ongoing health/safety requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and possible medical examination.

Responsibilities

• Supervises teachers, librarians, and education staff for the assigned complex.
• Interviews and participates in the hiring process.
• Evaluates teacher performance and classroom management.
• Manages education and library services and contracts.
• Ensures compliance with ADCRR policies, contracts, and security.
• Collaborates with Regional Education Director to deliver high-quality programs.
• Maintains budget and administrative tasks.
• Attends meetings and travels in-state as required.
