Job summary

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) seeks an Instructional Coordinator to support the TEACH Institute and School of Science, Technology, and Education. The role focuses on scheduling, registration, curriculum management, and faculty loading to ensure efficient academic operations.

The position requires collaboration with faculty, staff, and external partners, with a strong emphasis on data management, budgeting, and contract administration.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a team setting and a strong commitment to providing customer service.
• Proven ability to work with a variety of technology packages in a Windows environment, including word processing, database management, data retrieval and presentation.
• Ability to work independently with attention to details and accuracy.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Ability to deal professionally, tactfully and effectively with students, faculty, administrators, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Build, analyze, organize, coordinate, enter, and modify the schedule of classes and ensure deadlines are met.
• Registration: Monitor enrollments and assist with new offerings or cancellations as needed.
• Curriculum: Manage EPC proposals and track progress through approval processes.
• Loading: Generate faculty load reports and enrollment analyses; ensure ACA compliance.
• Contracts: Manage and communicate about contracts and approvals for faculty.
• Textbooks: Track textbook orders and enter information into Colleague.
• External Collaboration: Liaise with TEACH Institute and Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
• Internal Collaboration: Advise on system changes and participate in college-wide task forces.
