Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Project Coordinator to help meet program goals for TRIO/ETS participants, including facilitating enrollment, college preparation, and college/career planning.

You will supervise staff, collect data for annual reports, work with target schools, and develop enrichment and tutoring initiatives to support student achievement. On-site role with collaboration across youth programs; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in education, counseling, social work, higher education administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of staff supervision, budget management, program development and evaluation, reporting, and compliance with federal regulations.
• Minimum of four years of experience with federal TRIO programs or similar programs for disadvantaged students.
• Experience providing academic advising on college admissions, financial aid, and career planning.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, evaluate and hire staff.
• Collect data for the annual preparation and submission of the APR.
• Monitor participant academic progress and develop improvement plans.
• Visit target schools and liaise with personnel to promote program services.
• Develop and implement summer enrichment and tutoring programs.
• Recruit participants and manage enrollment deadlines.
• Prepare weekly evaluations and maintain program files.
