Job summary

ISW's Institute for the Study of War seeks a full-time Education Program Manager to plan and execute its Petraeus Center for Emerging Leaders' educational programs. The role oversees internship programs, Hertog War Studies, and professional development, coordinating with staff, researchers, and alumni.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years in educational programs or national security field.
• Experience as teaching/TA/RA preferred.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute ISW’s Education Internship programs.
• Coordinate Hertog War Studies Program and related activities.
• Support alumni engagement and ongoing staff development.
• Collaborate with Petraeus Center and ISW staff to improve programs.
• Ensure budget-aligned planning and execution.
