Job summary

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) seeks a full-time Education Program Manager to plan and execute our growing educational programs housed in the Petraeus Center for Emerging Leaders.

The role focuses on managing internship programs, Hertog War Studies initiatives, and ongoing professional development for staff and alumni, coordinating with ISW leadership and Petraeus Center staff to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience managing educational programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute ISW’s internship program.
• Coordinate education, lectures, briefings, and professional development activities.
• Maintain internship SOPs and handbooks with best practices.
• Generate reports on program effectiveness and areas for improvement.
• Assist with Hertog War Studies program logistics and alumni events.
• Support ISW alumni programming and engagement.
